| Officer Reminders |
|
Ongoing
- New Member Record (Part 1 and 2) and Activation dues are due to the National Sorority within 10 days of Activation.
- Be sure to order Membership Certificates and Advisor Certificates for new members and advisors.
- Scholarship Report Forms are due within the first 30 days of your term or quarter.
- New Officers Report Forms are due within 10 days of any change of office.
- Graduating Senior Record must be filled out by all graduates including summer term. This officially changes their status on the database to "alumni."
- Update your websites! New prospective members will learn more about your chapter, and it has been shown that our "Chapter Profiles" page is the second most popular for site visitors. You are welcome to link directly to the "Chapter Profiles" page on your site.
- Print off Sigma Alpha Brochures at any point throughout the year.
- All Chapter Presidents should be receiving electronic newsletter messages through the Sigma Alpha Scroll. If you are not, please register here.
- Meet other members to network and share ideas on Sigma Alpha's Greek Chat Board.
- Chapter information is continuously updated on the "Chapter Profiles" page. Please contact us if your information is incorrect or missing.
- All forms, reports, applications and dues should be sent by mail to the national sorority address or via email to Document@sigmaalpha.org. Include your chapter name on all materials sent.

- Emerald Times Newsletter Submissions (see article below) are due February 24th to Brenda Meyers.
March
- Disciplinary Action Forms are due March 10th (quarter).
- March is National Women's History Month!
- National Ag Day is March 20th! Help us celebrate by sharing your love of agriculture with a local elementary school classroom! Have a favorite ag book? Share it! Found a fun activity to teach children about agriculture? Teach it! An Ag Day Resource Packet of lessons and activities, all related to agriculture, has been developed to help you share your love of agriculture!

- AAW Fly In and Ag in the Classroom Conference Applications are due April 1st to Foundation.
- Proposed Bylaw Amendments due April 15th to Joy Ritz.

- National Chapter Guide and Advisor Guide Changes are due July 15th to Lisa Campion.

| Emerald Times & How to Submit Chapter Articles |
|
Your chapter can submit articles for the "Chapter News" section in the Emerald Times Newsletter! If your chapter has had any successes or innovative ideas that you would like to share with sisters and alumni across the nation, please feel free to write an article and submit a picture (if you have one) from the event. An article of 200-250 words is adequate.
Please submit articles to Brenda Meyers by October 1, 2010 and February 24, 2011 and August 1, 2011.
