Are you interested in joining Sigma Alpha?
|
|
|
Whether you are interested in Fall or Spring Rush, there are a series of activities that every lady can participate in to join Sigma Alpha. There are ice breaker activities like our Welcome Back BBQ, famous desert parties, and sports tournaments. You can join us anytime to have fun and meet other members of the sorority and our brother fraternities.
Rush includes:
Informal Rush: Each year have an activity planned. We have done things from bowling and playing pool in the Union to a game night with FarmHouse and volleyball with Alpha Gamma Rho, our two brother fraternities. This night is planned so that you have a chance to meet other women in the sorority and socialize. It is very informal. You are welcome to attend and it is of no cost to you.
Information Session: A night to allow you to receive more information about our sorority, meet members and pick up a packet that outlines your rush expectations and dues.
Preference Night: A night for us to learn about you. You will sit down with us while we ask you interview style questions. It gives us a chance to get to know you better as well as allow for another opportunity to meet more members.
Pinning: If you receive a bid after preference night, then you are welcomed into the sorority as a Membership Candidate on this night.
