AgAdvocate Award
Dr. Kelly Millenbah was nominated by Gamma Chapter President, Lisa Campion, to recieve the AgAdvocate Award. She recieved this award at the AGR/SA Leadership Seminar in Indianapolis on February 24th, 2007. Congratulations!
 
Outstanding FFA Junior Award
Sigma Alpha, Gamma Chapter offers with AGR, Tau Chapter a $200 scholarship to the Outstanding FFA Junior of the State of Michigan. A nomination committee of three Sigma Alpha women and three AGR men select the finalists for the award. The winner is announced annually at the State FFA Convention held in March. The winner recieves this scholarship only is she/he attends Michigan State University. It is highly recommended that the winners of the scholarship look into the benefits that Sigma Alpha or Alpha Gamma Rho can offer them while attending Michigan State University.
 
Monsanto Scholarship Winners
Monsanto has offered Sigma Alpha's from around the nation a chance to attend National Convention and the Joint Leadership Seminars with Alpha Gamma Rho. There were two ladies that recieved scholarships from Monsanto and are very appreciative of the opportunities that they have offered us!

Lisa Campion recieved National Convention and Leadership Seminar Scholarship in the amount of $400!

Johanna Wielfaert recieved a Leadership Seminar Scholarship in the amount of $200!
 
Gamma Alumni Leadership Scholarship
The Gamma Chapter Alumni approved $500 to go towards the Gamma Chapter Active Leadership Events for the 2006-2007 school year. This money will go towards women's expenses to attend the AGR/SA Joint Leadership Seminar and Regional Conference. Along with other Professional Events such as Professional Development Days.
 
2006 National Convention Trip
Johanna Wielfaert and Lisa Campion went to National Convention in Atlanta, Georgia in October of 2006. Among the many sessions and banquets attended, they went to the Mayfield Dairy Plant and met many women from around the nation to keep in touch with. The chapters they met recieved Gamma Chapter Holiday Cards in December of 2006 to show our appreciation in meeting them. Both ladies recieved their trips paid for by the Gamma Chapter, but Lisa also had $500 in Monsanto Scholarship to help pay. The Gamma Chapter encourages women to broaden their expereiences and networking skills and will support them in any way possible!
